Advent Resources from Christians for a Free Palestine
The Advent season offers a unique opportunity for Christians to take action to confront Christian Zionism and deepen solidarity with our siblings in Palestine. The resources below are designed to help you support Palestine throughout the holiday season. Whether that looks like having difficult conversations with your family and friends, bringing your concerns for Palestinians into your church, or taking public action for Palestine, the CFP community is here to help.
This Advent, Christians for a Free Palestine is partnering with Palestinian Youth Movement to advance the Mask off Maersk Campaign, part of the People’s Arms Embargo. For more information, or to receive an action toolkit, please complete this form.
Support Palestine in your church
Inspired by Rev. Munther Isaac's "Christ in the Rubble" Sermon, our friends at Christians for Ceasefire created the "Christ in the Rubble Prayer Toolkit”, offering a variety of resources for churches seeking to bring Palestine into their prayers, rituals, and holiday traditions.
Support Palestine in your home
CFP offers this Holiday Family Conversations Toolkit because we know that the upcoming holidays are an opportunity to advocate for Palestine in our home communities. You might be entering into conversations with folks who know and love you, and who might not have heard the perspective you bring to the table or who don’t have a good sense of what is happening in this moment. We believe this is a time to be bold and courageous in our advocacy and solidarity! The purpose of this guide is to support you in that work, to prepare you for these conversations, and to remind you that you are part of a whole network of people who are committed to this work with you.
Special thanks to Rev. Addie Domske for developing this toolkit.
