The U.S. is the primary international supporter and enabler of Israel’s oppression of Palestinians and the ongoing genocide in Gaza. Despite its radically liberatory roots, Christianity — which holds immense influence and moral authority in US society — is being weaponized to advance anti-Muslim, anti-Jewish ideologies, as well as colonial US policies in Palestine and around the world.

If we mobilize a queer, multi-racial, ecumenical, anti-colonial Christian movement rooted in liberation theology to take public direct action disrupting the “hardware (weapons) and software (Christian Zionism)” of U.S. support for Israel as part of a broader progressive base fighting White Christian Nationalism, then we will win an end to U.S. military, economic, diplomatic, and ideological support for Israel, and Palestinians will be in a stronger position to defeat Israel’s apartheid rule and achieve freedom, justice, equality, and dignity.

Christians for a Free Palestine has organized the largest yet demonstrations countering Christian Zionism and nonviolent direct actions that have been witnessed across the globe. As we take action, we are building a spiritual and political home for Christians engaging in solidarity with Palestinians, and reclaiming Christian tradition from empire. 

CFP is funded by our grassroots base. We know that to remain politically independent and visionary, our funding must reflect the values of our organization.

• Coordinate national direct actions mobilizing Christians in support of Palestine, including paying artists, and providing for hospitality, meals, and safety for participants
